Funny that you mention it, I just finished the game last night. It took me 56:42 hours to finish the game.

The good: Alot of fun Side Quests.
The Bad: THERE IS SO MANY LONG CUT SCENES!

Overall I do love this game.

''could you tell me a website with tips of something like that for help me with the game?''

Youtube, my friend., and you will never get stuck becuase the whole games is out there. Just add '' Lost Odyssey p27''. its proboly there you are now ;)

And my opinion :
Is it the best RPG this gen so far? YES. And thats includes all RPG.
Its without any doubts one favourite to me. Hovewer, its not AAA for me or a masterpiece like FFVI and FFIX. Thanks to some rubbish Sakaguchi ideas to make the game more ''childish'' (Is it even a word?). Music is a masterpiece, graphics, storytelling, gameplay are really nice and good. But think of puting a Sephiroth instead of Gongora, and a even darker story, and it will became that Epic feeling i thougt it will be. But damn, so many influence in this game is kicking other JRPGs ass so hard.

But still a 9 of 10 game for me.

Yeah. I think the user-review synopsis of Lost Odyssey would be: "Without a doubt, the best JRPG for next-gen systems thus far. It's not the best JRPG ever made, but can stack up against good to great JRPGs of the PSX and PS2 generations"

So yeah, get it if you like turn based JRPGs. If your a Final Fantasy fan (pre-XII) you won't be dissapointed. Escpecially since the men in the game look like guys.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Do you mean RPG or JRPG? Because if you mean JRPG, I'll agree, but it doesn't exactly have stiff competition

  • Enchanted Arms
  • Blue Dragon
  • Eternal Sonata

Am I missing any?

Lost Odyssey is probably the most underated game of all time. Yes the intro is the best intro I've evr seen to. And as people who buy it are finding out, it's my Fave RPG since FF7. To the OP: The game gets triple better than where your up to and it has the most saddest scene in games Ive seen(you'll know when you get there.) Hironobu is so good at story telling, the way he pulls at your emotions in the game is brilliantly done. It's also got the best voice overs in a game I've heard. If you need any tips just message me I'll be glad to help.:)

The storyline is far too derivitive. I've read far more compelling fantasy novels than LO as a child.

That said it`s not particularly bad but it is shamelessly uncreative.

Like every FF game then.:) LO isnt necessarily about a great story, it's the way it's told that elevates it so high. In terms of storytelling in an RPG it is some way ahead of other JRPG's.

FF storylines are quite pathetic as well by Novel/movie standards which is why I ignore most of them besides playing through them quickly just to keep in touch with developments.

LO is a great game and every bit as good as last generations FFs. Graphically its a delight and the characterisation is pretty good. It easily has better dialogue than 90% of the JRPGs out there and most of the characters are actually memorable.

It is easily the best JRPG released this generation and a hugely underrated game.

This game's dialouge never felt cheesy to me so I agree with you.

Not even when those 2 kids start singing?  I think it's the part where you meet your wife.
