But it is the Church of Scientology I can't stand. They charge their members and disconnect them from their families. And many members of the Church have died under their watch.

The Church is a cult and should not be endorsed as a religion.

Well, classical and quantum physics have one process that only moves in one direction, time, and the accompanying entropy. There's no concept of forgiveness in science as a power for balance. Otherwise, Shintoism, which has a large animistic component, has ideas that seem to describe some aspects of quantum physics, as does Buddhism.
