i reccently got Mass Effect and its an amazing game, one of the best this gen IMO, i know that a second is planned by bioware, i was wondering if anyone had any more info on it?

Mass Effect was cool, though the framerates were rather frightening. However, it was one of the best games last year. I am getting the PC version shortly.

I also look forward to M.E. 2. I wonder if it will hit the PS3 the same time it hits on the 360, though.

If by multiplatform you mean an Xbox 360 version followed later by a PC version? Then yes, it is looking like it will be multiplatform.

The game was was a big disappointment for me. The story was great and the VA was superb but the combat and technical issues were godawful

Are you saying you don't think it will be on the PS3 at launch? That would be muffed up. PS3 folks got shafted the first time around ... twice would suck.

It's a great game. I have not heard much about ME2. Maybe something at E3.

My hope is that subsequent games in the series hit the PC simultaneously because the 360 version kinda sucked a big one in comparison. Also, I'm really hoping that the second and third games in the series have a main quest line that's longer than eight hours. Sure, you could spend 20 or 30 hours exploring all of the copy and paste/random terrain generated shit but the actual quality sections in the game can't be stretched out to more than a dozen hours.

I hated the moon vehicle controls and firing that POC was horrible. However, I had a blast with everything, especially leveling up and using your character in multiple playthroughs was cherry.
