Now that the PS3 and the 360 both support Achievements/Trophies I was wondering if anybody thinks Nintendo should add support for them.  I have always loved the achievements on the 360 and now that the PS3 now supports them I have been thinking of buying the system soon.  For me it adds replay value to a game and adds extra challenge.  It’s also a great way of showing off your accomplishments to your friends. 

I would love to see something similar come to the Wii and I'm sure Nintendo could put their own spin on it so that it would not be a direct copy from its competitors.  Anybody else think this would be cool?

I'm hoping for in-game messaging for the Wii.

Achievements are mainly an online thing, and Nintendo has far larger priorities concerning online.

Hell no. Too many people go crazy over that stuff. I dont even bother with it so I wouldnt want it.

Meh nintendo has to do much more things to their online first. It would be nice to see that though after they are done with other improvements.

For completitionists, perfectionists, or just people who are competitive, achievements are a lot of fun. Frankly Nintendo barely ever responds to something Sony or Microsoft does unless they recognize that it bears extreme importance (online, for example).

I noticed that you don't have any 360 or PS3 games. Have you even tried to get an achievement or a trophy?  Who knows you might dig it.

Judging from the way Brawl did it... Hell yeah it would be cool. Plus there's enough games which have plenty of room for achievements in them.
