Can you name another RTS game so I'll know what this game is about?  I don't think I've played RTS game before.

i've never heard of it before, but it sounds like battlezone or maybe even like renegade, even tho there wasn't that much RTS in Renegade

You're kidding right?  StarCraft, Red Alert, Homeworld, Warcraft, Age of Empires, Company of Heroes, Sins of a Solar Empire, Rise of Nations, Command & Conquer, World In Conflict, Empire Earth, Warhammer 40k, I could go on.

As for if you'll like RTS games, I have no clue, you might like this RTS FPS hybrid though.

I saw some screens for this game, looks promising, but at the same time I question how it could possibly work.

...It's SouthPeak. My anticipation has been diminished.

The only viable FPS/RTS that ever worked was Dungeon Keeper, and even then, the FPS aspects were minimal.

There was that Battlezone game in the 90's that was a mixture of FPS and RTS. It was good fun on the PC but I don't know. I gave up on playing RTS genre on my 360. It really need a precise control like a mouse if not then the AI need to be competent where they would take cover, fight back etc without constant babysitting.

I listen to some podcast and they said the voice control command work really well. How are the AI for your unit? that's seems to be the problem with RTS on console since crappy AI make the joypad control even more frustrating.

Well Soutpeak is the publisher ... so may be the game will be decent...
