I think PS3 owners should have a different view on this... Expect future titles to implement trophies, but as for past games, don't have any expectations.
Don't expect most developers to patch their games just to make use of a new feature Sony has implemented. Their teams are most likely too busy working on more important things now.

Thats when you know developers like infinity ward and capcom need a little push towards the $$$ way. Without it, they don't give a **** has long has their product sells. Also IW are bit of an ass, they made revenue off the map packs they released. Well as long as future games are supported, it wouldn't matter

There's still no rumble feature in COD4? Lazy ass money hungry conglomerate piece of **** , now i know they cater more to the xbot family, they got the patch ( new killcams ) three weeks earlier than we did, they get double xp weekends, and they get rumble and gamerscore no doubt about that. Its because M$ hustles, and fourzerotwo is not my hero anymore ;( Then again i sold mines, so i don't care

Gotta love rampant Sony fanboys bashing other companies for Sony's shortcomings (while throwing in the word xbot for good measure)... If Sony had implemented rumble from the start, companies would have used it for sure. Now it's too late for some companies who don't have the resources to go back and patch their old games just to sell a few hundred copies to the guys who can't live without rumble or trophies.

Most already released games won't get them. The only games that will be getting them soon are games that are in the midst of development right now.
Madden might, but because it just went gold, it may not ship with them. But EA could patch that if they wanted to. Obviously LBP, Socom, and Resistance 2, Killzone 2, etc, will have them, plus multi-plats. But I don't believe that we'll be seeing lots of third party "old" games getting the Burnout Paradise love.
Most already released games will likely not get Trophies. I know many will find it disappointing but its obvious that the focus will be on new games.
Trophies are unlikely to add many new sales so for a developer are not really worth adding - the games already announced will deliver enough chance to get some points while new games will probably have them as a matter of course (as indicated by Capcom themselves).
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
