With the pre-load available since yesterday or Wednesday, now the game can be played by everyone with a Steam account, until Sunday.
And if that's not enough, you can purchase it for just $4.99. I had never played it and played for about 30 min now, my first opinion is that it's a fast paced game, similar to COD4, without the crappy respawn. I also think that you'll go nowhere if your team sucks and if you are attacking it will be even worse.
That being said, unless you hate yourself, I see no reasons to skip it.
