Any company could become number one. Just because you hate MS doesn't mean they can never be number one. And if you're a Sony fanboy saying that it could never happen, you don't have a whole lot of room to talk at the moment. Relatively speaking, the PS3 still isn't even selling that well in Japan. It's still an unproven console so far.

I actually think that as long as MS stays in its only a matter of time before the are number one. It might take 2 or 3 more generations but they are learning quickly, appear dedicated, have tons of cash, and their brand is growing stronger and stronger. If they can crack Japan they will be a major force.

Actually, Japan is not that important region. I guess if MS would succeed in NA/europe, they would not need japan to be number one. :p
