WTF? I'm used to watching Microsoft's at night.

But having it in the day means they get a whole 24 hours of hype and discussion to themselves, which may (or may not) be a good thing depending on what they actually show at the conference.

There is no link to livewire in the original article. However, I bet if you join livewire and search for ign it will be there. Plus, this article says:

"Once you have the widget(s) of your choice, just click on it at any time to check in on the latest coverage from the show."

@DMJ: I thought you were Eastern? The Nintendo and Sony conferences are at 9:00 and 11:30 for me, and I'm Central. You sure you're not off by an hour?
