Yeah I agree. McCain has military experience. Obama has Community Organizing experience.
Commander in chief mostly involves listening to your senior military advisers and making sound rational decisions based on that information and your beliefs. Therefore, either one will do a fine job regarding the military.
I'm just hoping they keep soldiers safe. (I'm looking at you, kasillas88)
Obama would be better.
Due to McCain's stubbornness he would be more reluctant to listen to the advisers and do his own thing.
Obama on the other hand has no military experience and would take his adviser's opinions with great interest. Plus, he just seems smarter in general.

Im definitely gonna have to agree with superchunk on this one. And like Dogs said hopefully the next president takes care of his military and only fights when absolutely necessary.

Obama would be much less likely to send our military to fight wars of choice...
@Damkira
I'll have to respectfully partially disagree. I think that they are equally unlikely to go into wars of choice. McCain knows the brutality of war and of being in a POW camp for 6 years, where he was tortured. I think he would avoid putting other soldiers at risk of that unless absolutely necessary. Of course his definition of "absolutely necessary" might be more lenient then Obama's. It might be the other way around.
I'm Canadian, so if I have missed out on McCain himself saying something that would make my position illogical, then I retract it. McCain knows more about McCain then I do. :)
Well considering that McCains plan for Iraq is the same as Bush forget it. I think Obama would be better. I think a sack of dog crap would be better.
@Dogs Rule
Yes, you think he would but thats not true. McCain was an enthusiastic supporter of the "surge" policy in Iraq last year. Despite everyone pretty much knowing that there were NO WMDs in Iraq, McCain thought it would be a swell idea to send tens of thousands of soldiers into war... a proven unnecessary war.
