Eh, I'd agree that one can scrutinize the textures in the background.

However, the big question is how overall it looks. Being in a dark, dank dungeon really isn't the best area to question how textures will end up looking.

Either way, combat looks A+ and is giving me a great vibe. I've been waiting for a true Japanese ARPG, and this looks like it's going to be great :)

The combat definitely looks great.  It reminds me of Kingdom Hearts, only without the jumping.  The graphics look great in the screenshots and I really like the art direction.  Now all Tri-Ace has to do is fix up the framerate and the game is as good as done.

Wow!

Looks fantastic! Kind of reminds me of FFXII, but far more user input. Hopefully my girlfriend and I can beat ToV quick enough to buy this day-1.

Don't rush ToV though lol. ToV looks better than this. But IU looks cool. If it's tri-Ace...must be awesome.

Actually, IU looks better than ToV.  IU has better lighting and the environments aren't as flat.  ToV still looks good though

Again a young guy a la FFXII ...

SE, plz, bring me back Vagrant Story 2 design, cut scene and gameplay !!

Wait and see.

Time to Work !

VS2 is very unlikely since the original didn't sell very well

One, I know better to judge graphics in a demo. Usually an early build of the game and in that you have to look at the concept and combat system. And from what I can tell it is a mix of Crisis Core or Kingdom Heart combat system. Hard to say if this will be any better, not really big fan of the combat of KH. Outside of that it looks good.

I'm just saying...

why does it both graphically and combat wise similar to PSP's Crisis Core?

This is next gen console we are talking about here. Some seriously bad texture I'm looking at here.. (first scene, look at the bricks on the jail cell wall there)

No trolling please, let us enjoy this awesome RPG coming to the 360. Oh and please do not make graphical comparisons on a Standard Definition 4 inch download from GameTrailers! Thats like me saying that Drakes Fortune looks like my arse based on gameplay footage on a 4 inch by 4 inch SD Trailer from Yahoo......sheesh!!

calling what I said "trolling" while you add your own trolling statement? interesting...

What I said was at least constructive. I don't see you arguing the bad texture, and just "generic" character design... or the fact that combat system looks dull.

This is nothing against Microsoft (i never mentioned Microsoft in fact), everything was purely on the game itself.

Of note, you are the biggest troll on this website.

Game is looking great an the release date is coming up soon. Type of game I can get a lot of replay value with.

The game looks fairly good. Her hair moves funny when she runs though :P. The graphics looks very nice and I like the character models. Music also sounded good.

boooring. Looks like a generic jrpg.

Main characters are teenagers? check.

Overload of custscenes? check.

I've been waiting ages for a decent, mature JRPG, and I thought Infinite Undiscovery was it, but unfortunately it looks generic.

We don't even know the actual age of the characters. Of course there is a lot of cutscenes, JRPGs are often among the most story-heavy games. We aren't sure of the story yet but we know the gameplay is different from typical JRPGs. IU is not as generic as you think.

EDIT:We did get a decent, mature JRPG in the form of Lost Odyssey
