As long as you didn't peel off the warranty sticker yes they will...if you have, then yeah it will be 100 bucks no matter what the problem is...

LOL. True. Xbox 360 has already been responsible for many acts of violence  in our society...lets not add more examples to the media or we may all have to play the Wii soon.

Edit: I'll try getting Microsoft to send me a coffin before I resort to RRoD, that is as soon as the repair page will stop screwing with me. :P

Yes, quite a while ago MS increased the limited warranty for ROD to 2 years and I think they might still be fixing systems older than that at no additional cost.

Not bashing it...just saying its the only console with a clean image and is not blamed for corrupting our youth by politicians.

I have 6 360's (Had 5, but when I sent 2 back for RRoD I got the two and a week later they sent me an extra one)...

I have one Wii, and it has bricked twice now...

This generation is not being nice.

I've decided to go with the RRoD option just to make sure that they replace it right away without any kind of hassles or delays. I'm taking it with me tonight with some towels and we'll have an RRoD party of sorts. We'll all gather around the 360 like bonfire, roast some marshmellows on it, and maybe curse it with black magic.

Man, when I bought my 360 I never thought I'd be RRoDing it myself. Thanks disolitude and Fernando again, this thread really did help me out, I really appreciate the suggestion. :)

I'll update on when/if I get my refurb from Microsoft.
