Personally I think Sony should have gone with a $300 PS3 at launch without BR and had comparable yet worse graphics to the 360 (similar to GC vs Xbox)

Bro, we all know that most of those hardore games suck royally on the wii and if they are not out yet, thew will suck...and you mentioned some casual games

Don't get me wrong dude, I love the wii...hell I actually want one for brawl. I will pick up a wii very soon, probaly tommorrow...its just that it does not have an audience outside of casual. Who honestly would buy Cod4 or 5 on the wii? Its that bad...and every real gamer knows that.

Your post has the most hypocrisy I have ever seen on this forum.

You know NOTHING about those games! You do not know anything. Your tell was when you said you didn't know if they were out.

Those games do not suck. They are good. No More Heroes is great, and Tales of Symphonia, and Resident Evil 4. Do some research before you assume anything.

You are just trolling now and grasping at straws. Maybe you want a Wii, that does not mean you aren't a Sony Fanboy. Riot has a Wii for Brawl yet he hates it.

The Wii has hardcore games, you just don't want your point to be disproven.

 

First off, let me give you some wet wipes to dry your tears...lol I was talking about cod and star wars will suck compared PS/360 versions, but the games I put in bold letters are pretty much casuals...and those games rock. So dont take this too personally.

 

LOL. The Force Unleashed for the Wii is going to probably outsell the combine total of the PS3 and 360 version because of the added content. Starwars fans around the world rejoiced when they saw a console which could be used to have realistic light saber battles. Zelda != Casual.

IT HAS BEEN SELLING FAR BETTER THEN THE XBOX 360 FOR 6 MONTHS NOW

As of right now, it may only display interest in the hardcore crowd, but in time with a pricecut, the audience will be amended for the medium of both types of gamers. The games that it has now and the upcoming titles in the future will apeal to everyone so that both crowds can relate to them.

P.S. Bet: PS3 2009 sales will equal Wii 2008 total WW sales.

Sony domination will not happen this time. You can count on it. Nintendomination is already happening. By the end of this generation Wii will be THE console to own for both hardcore and softcore games (makes me feel dirty typing that statement).

Well, you previously stated that the Wii only appeals to casual gamers. And apparently the Wii appeals to you. So are you a casual gamer?

I'll make my opinion after more than half the games you mentioned have come out. Unfortunately the PS3 exclusives I'm interested in seeing are not out yet. MGS4 looks great but it will take more than one game I really want to purchase a system. I didn't get my PS2 until 2005...

Do we always have to do this? argue about our consoles? all 3 aint going anywhere! so i guess we will be doing this back and forth crap for the next 10 20 years.........although i do think the ps3 has the best variety, haha. *runs away*

It has good hardcore and good casual games. It is the perfect mix.
