I Disagree, i find Gran Turismo to be the most boring racing simulator if that's what you mean.How does this prove Ps3 is a mixture of both Wii and 360?

Super Mario Galaxy, 7 million. Again, doesn't prove anything that PS3 is a mixture of both

4. Debatable: It has THE best action/adventure franchise: God of War series.

 

The Legend of zelda, Metroid Prime Series, God of War is only above average IMO.

5. It has THE best RPGs: Final Fantasy series/maybe kingdom hearts

 

the nintendo DS says hi, it actually has final Fantasy games on it already instead of waiting till late 2009, also doesn't prove Ps3 is a mixture of both.

6. It has one of the most popular fighting franchises: Tekken series

 

Super smash Bros. Brawl, THE most popular fighting franchise. Also doesn't prove PS3 is a micture of both.

7. Has the best off-road series: Motorstorm.

In conclusion, PS3 is not just for hardcore gamers...it appeals to the casual and hardcore gamer crowd. As of right now, it may only display interest in the hardcore crowd, but in time with a pricecut, the audience will be amended for the medium of both types of gamers. The games that it has now and the upcoming titles in the future will apeal to everyone so that both crowds can relate to them.

P.S. Bet: PS3 2009 sales will equal Wii 2008 total WW sales.

 

 

See italics, You list 1 single game that you assume to be casual, all other titles are "hardcore" titles, if you really wanted to show PS3 as a mixture of both Wii and 360 you better have more casual games than Little Big Planet.

 

Also the Wii might as well be hardcore as well, since i can fit a game into every category you presented in your post. If anything, Wii is the only console with a mixture of Hardcore and Casual titles. 360 and PS3 maybe have 1 or 2, the rest are all targeted at gamers not casuals.

Don't get me wrong dude, I love the wii...hell I actually want one for brawl. I will pick up a wii very soon, probaly tommorrow...its just that it does not have an audience outside of casual. Who honestly would buy Cod4 or 5 on the wii? Its that bad...and every real gamer knows that.

So the 360 is a hardcore system, the PS3 is a mixture, but both consoles share about 80% of their libraries? Is that what I'm getting here?

For Little Big Planet I give you Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts

For Tekken I give you Dead or Alive

For Gran Turismo I give you Forza

For God of War I give you Ninja Gaiden

For Final Fantasy I give you just about every other RPG being released(Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean, Lost Odyssey, take your pick)

For Metal Gear Solid I give you Splinter Cell(even though I'm a much bigger fan of MGS)

For Motorstorm I don't have anything, but I'm wondering how much Off-Road games matter in the scheme of things. Then again, if Microsoft revives Rallisport Challenge you can kiss this point goodbye.

For Shooters: Please I won't even go there

For MLB 08 I give you playable versions of EA's sports games

The bottom line is, what's your point? Both consoles are virtually the same. Out of everything listed, the only thing Microsoft hasn't offered in some form is a Motorstomish game. I won't get into it with Nintendo but will just say as others have, you're wrong to assume it only for casuals.

You know NOTHING about those games! You do not know anything. Your tell was when you said you didn't know if they were out.

Those games do not suck. They are good. No More Heroes is great, and Tales of Symphonia, and Resident Evil 4. Do some research before you assume anything.

You are just trolling now and grasping at straws. Maybe you want a Wii, that does not mean you aren't a Sony Fanboy. Riot has a Wii for Brawl yet he hates it.

The Wii has hardcore games, you just don't want your point to be disproven.

EDIT: You also say that Fire Emblem and Zelda are casual games. I do not see one casual saying,"I am bored. I know, I'll play the hardest game on the Wii, Fire Emblem, and then I'll play a deep and complicated game like Zelda."

Have some basic knowledge before you post. Fanboyism is a cruel sight to behold.
