Forums - Sony - SOCOM delayed until October 14th

I've never played Socom and I've never really been interested in it, but I am intrigued with Confrontation. To be honest, I want to buy it just to get my hands on that headset lol

As long as the game turns out okay at the end, then I'm alright with it. What sucks is that now the game is being released in the same month as LBP and Bioshock.

I guess now PS3 fans/owners are just happy if the game is released.

Thanks for the reply. Not a big delay then.

From what i remember last year they said that Socom was a holiday release, so its about 10-12 months late.

 because SCC, Too Human, and Duke Nukem are all Ps3 exlusive titles. /rolls eyes

I am really surprised you haven't been banned yet.

Anyways, still not sure how I feel about SOCOM: Confrontation.  Seems like they don't understand a lot of the things that made SOCOM great.  Just like Zipper did with S3.

I haven't tried the previous SOCOMs but I've heard some good things. I'm going to give this one a try. The early videos look good. I'm ok with game delays, as long as the game is good. If it isn't good, I would rather have waited longer.

I give this thread a 9.8.

SOCOM has been pretty fun in the past, especially when you're with a team of people you know.

This delay isn't that bad.

Sony delays Everything, something they forgot to do with 2.40, BURN!!!
