I'm never been to New York outside of Manhattan, thankfully.

New york  city is quite safe unless you search for trouble. There are bad neighborood at certain places just like any other cities. It is fast paced and lively all the times.

After playing GTA IV, I wanna go to Times Square.  You don't get shot there do you?

Whoops, I actually meant Sc because you don't actually live in the United States. I still think you're very cool though, I just don't live near you.

Psrock: How gullible do you think I am? I've seen the movie "Coming to America," I know what the other boroughs are like.

DMeisterJ: After playing GTA4, I'm curious if they actually have helicopter rides for tourists there. That'd be awesome and would motivate me to visit there again. But, like in GTA4, I'd probably be tempted to throw the guy out of the helicopter and steal it. Then I'd proceed to try to fly under all the bridges and get the "Under the Radar" achievement. All in real life.

As a broooklyn native, I know the biggset problem we have are gangs. The thing is, they are mostly fake thugs who act big when they are in groups. I see them in my building, outside, but they dont give people trouble unless you do something stupid. The last time some one got shot near me was 3 months ago and it was rival gangs going against each other.

This is what I love about Off Topic. Threads themselves can go off topic themselves, and they usually end up twice as good for doing it.

Psrock: Yeah, New York is pretty much a paradise and the future of most American cities. Low crime rates, a health conscious population, relatively low pollution, very few people owning their own cars. I admire the city quite a bit.
