Forums - Microsoft - Analyst: Microsoft Could Use Price as a Weapon

Well this weapon doesnt work in Europe or Japan. With Momentum of PS3, i don't think it'll work in NA either ( as 360 is already cheaper and PS3 outsells it mostly in NA )

Around the Network

PS3 will now always outsell 360 on a monthly basis. Why? Because the 360 library is better (atm), but people outside US/UK (and some small markets) don´t care.

IMO the RROD hurt the 360 sales more than anything else (at least in Europe). No pricecut can make the image loss unhappen.

WHAT A NEW ZOMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

I should work as analyst !!!

Time to Work !

Free XBox Live Gold would be the weapon more like it. Nintendo and Sony both offer free online play.

LOL.  I guess only Americans like better games.  I really do not give a shit about the PS3 as long as M$ keeps the bad ass games coming...and they are.  I am completely happy with M$ this generation and they will get my money for the next.

An interesting side note. I was watching a video of a Google Development Conference about making web sites faster by speaker Steve Saunders(I think this was his name, and it was a really good speech) when he got done with his talk and took questions.  Obviously the guys in the audience are gonna throw down some M$ hate so the first guy says something along the lines of IE sucks balls and the other browsers destroy it.  Well, the Google guy starts defending IE.  I was completely floored.  He said that IE blazed the trail while other browsers are only meeting standards.  He also said that if IE took out all of the frills and features then it would be tons faster than the other browsers out there.
