No they aren't. Metroid prime is an action-adventure while halo 3 is an fps.

 

 

Let me rephrase that. the Setting is the same genre (sci-fi). MP3 is a LOT more comparable to Halo 3 than SMG is.

i was pondering this a few days ago. i too have a ps3 and am considering on getting an x360. but it suddenly occurred to me that the ps3 and the x360 has pretty much the same line up as most game developers are going multiplat. though the x360 has some exclusive titles, the ps3 also has its own exclusive titles which pretty much cancels each other out. plus, the x360 almost the same gaming experience as the ps3.

now, i'm more inclined to get a wii instead as it would offer a different experience from the ps360. plus, it being cheaper is a nice add on.

I recommend you place all of your decisions in the hands of random strangers on the internet who don't know you.

Seriously, what PS3 games do you have. I recommend getting more games over a new system any day. Or maybe wait untill after e3 so you can take advantage of any price drops.
