True, but I wonder if they plan to keep in rotation.
It appears sony severly underestimated the power os MGS4, and so did a lot of people. They could have sold much more by now if they put more effort into making the bundles

guys, this isn't even very impressive if you actually think about it. The previous rank means nothing because it was sold out, number 7 is not very impressive especially if it took 24 hours to get there. Wii is constantly above number 10, even though it's sold out most of the time. It shoots to number 1 every time stock comes in and the stock sells out in 5-10 minutes usually. This has been happening nearly every week since launch. The number of units sent to amazon could not have been that huge if it could only make it to number 7 (it has now dropped to 30).
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
I think Sony needs to focus more assembly lines on the 80gb version, I don't know if the demand is because it has BWC or MGS4 but obviously it is there, they need sales so I would bleed it dry if I were them. Better to have some sitting on shelves like the Halo3 bundle than not enough.

It's impressive for the PS3, which is the reason why we're discussing it. and good for the Wii, as long as they sell, they're helping the overall outlook for the industry. Just as the PS3 and 360 are.

The sales ranking dropped shortly after as Amazon ran out of units to sell. In all likelihood, it wasn't a big shipment, hence the quick sale of inventory, and the relatively low jump in sales rank.
Doesn't require much deductive reasoning to see what most likely happened.
Until regular stock of the 80GB bundle becomes common on shelves, any claims as to the demand dropping off the charts are unwarranted.
