Are you mad that it's not coming for your precious xbox anytime soon? The story is not retarded, explain why you think it is.

 Loco Roco, the old Sonic games, ICO, Phantasy Star 1, Landstalker, Streets of Rage 2, Last Ninja 3, Ghouls and Ghosts, DMC1 etcetera.

Quite a few games actually.

As I've said before, I like MGS games, but the plotting and dialogue is ludicrous. Seven Samurai is one of the greatest films of all time, and is a truely amazing work of art. MGS....isn't. There are games that get story much, much better than MGS does. Japanese ones even, for those that are turning this somehow into a Japanese/Western issue, which it isn't.

I think he was pointing out that this guy hates MGS because it follows the typical Japanese over the top action melodrama, like Seven Samurai.

OP: Why do you feel the need to crap in other peoples cereal. Take your (in my opinion) blind hate for a good game and keep it to yourself. If it doesnt fit your tastes then oh well, its just what I said, YOUR tastes. I think Mario is WAY over played and about as shallow of a game as a game can get, but do I say that I think its a bad game? Or bad for our hobbie as a whole? No.



I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

Yeah, since your ban you have expanded your hate to other games, such as GTA IV. Good for you.

I hope one day you realize that the popularity of 1 game, movie, or band does not hurt anything. It can have an influence, but it doesn't change all works in the medium.. There will still be games with little to no story and no cutscenes. For those of us that like MGS4, though, we will be glad to see this game's influence spread to other games. Get over it.

See how childish that is? Anyways, its people saying their opinion of a game is the correct one, no mater what game it is. Not the fact he is saying bad  things about MGS4, I couldnt give a rats ass about that. I played it, I beat it, and I liked it.
