Hi All,

I am recruiting yet again for a very fun game called Goal Line Blitz which is an American Football MMORPG.

About 2 months ago, I made a similar plea to VGC-ers about the team, and got a great response. About 15 VGC-ers responded, and we created a team called the Newfoundland Thrashers (automated name for the team). We're currently halfway through our second season of play, and are 25-5 since we started.

It's a very fun, and addictive game. Just ask myself, Kasz216, Bladeneo, Gorgepir, SlumsofOhio, Stan Gable, Soriku, or the other 10 VGC-ers.

So here's what the idea is: We (current members of VGC and the team), want to create a 2nd team for more VGC-ers to join, and start a team up when the next season rolls around. More teams will be released to the public in about 3 weeks, which gives plenty of time for VGC-ers to create new players, and learn about the game by joining a CPU-controlled team before going on Team VGC.

The goal of this is so that we can foster 2 great VGC teams, by swapping out players as-needed. We've had so many great responses from VGC-ers that want to play, but we can only field a 50-man team (players can create multiple people).

The game is totally free, and unlike many MMOs, is not very time consuming (although many of us spend a lot of time on the game, as it's very fun). The interface is text-based with some graphics when the games are simulated. You don't need to stay online, and physically input plays for the game - you train RPG skills, which are then translated into your characters.

Again, it's very fun, and we'd love to have more VGC-ers on the game, for a 2nd team. So go to Goal Line Blitz

Well... I want something to replace combat grounds... will it help me learn play formations and the plays themselves?

Yes, it will help you learn formations, and a few plays.

Feel free to try the game out real quick, and see what the interface is, and what's all with the game. IMO, it's tons of fun, espeicially when you team is good (and Team VGC is one of the best).

I signed up as a Linebacker and I'm under the usual guise of Onyxmeth but my player's name is Lobo Obol. I'm on a CPU controlled team right now called the New Hampshire Strikers.

Stay on that CPU team till we get a team going that way we can send you a contract on the spot!

Yeah i've got like... 6-7 characters.

You start off with enough points to make A star offensive player and a O-lineman/kicker/punter.... or 2 defensive players/fullbacks.
