Actually I'd say it was the kids fault. Sure the parents probably gave them a lousy up-bringing and as such gave an environment in which this could happen, but it was still the kids who went out and did armed robbery.

yeah I agree its a total cop out when people blame other things for their actions.

The main problem here is that there is a precident for it. Hou many people turned around and blamed the Matrix for various shootings with teens. Obviously the umbrella of blame that followed Columbine. I blame Joe Lieberman as he made it popular to blame videogames. but, yeah until we end this lawsuit festered social agenda we will continue to see crap like this.
Also did anyone hear about the teen from U.K. who killed his "friend" and they blamed Manhunt. The main article forgot to mention that the kid murdered him over drug money and he had been in and out of juvinille programs for years. Its what the media loves to proport.
