That would be 30-40 hours of speech!

Which would be AWESOME!!!!!

Imagine the opportunities for story development and game immersion

@EaglesEye379

That is one sexy hunk of man-woman

I can see a change in your signature coming very soon...

You could call it the beasts of Fable 2 or something.

LOL.  I'm trying to ATTRACT people to the game, not repel them.

Still, I'd hit it

In the latest dev diary (#6), Molyneux circles the word October which is a tease of a release date. In trailers and press events, a Holiday release is always stated. I personally hope its December as it will have to compete with Fallout 3 if its October, another large scaled RPG. It definitely cant be November alongside Gears 2, Banjo and Left4Dead.

Im looking forward to the story and dialogue as Im new to Fable franchise. I just hope the dialogue is not going to be droning on for too long though.... koffMGS4koff

I can't remember any of the biggest cutscenes in Fable exceeding 2 or 3 minutes.  Much of the story development comes through quest completion, and a lot of the dialogue occured in real-time during gameplay.

Fable 2 still doesnt beat Oblivion.

Oblivion had 1000 talking NPCs.

60,000 lines of dialogue, over 50 hours spoken.

Half the DVD space was taken up by dialogue.

But since we all know how incredibly good Oblivion was, this is good news about Fable 2.

Oblivion was not a good game. And Oblivion may have had lots of voice-work, but almost all of it was terrible.

so fable2 is going to be RPG of the year 2008???

Dragon Age is the best chance for GOTY. Then Warhammer Online. Then Wrath of the Lich King. Then Age of Conan. Then Space Siege. Then Fable 2.

i think fable 2 will have a good shot at becoming rpg of the year.

If FFXIII doesn't make it out this year, I think Fable 2 is a shoe-in.  Especially after Fallout 3 seems to have gone to hell on a fast train.

I think we can consider massively multiplayer games to be in their own genre.

And Dragon Age (Baldur's Gate 2's "spiritual successor")? And Warhammer Online (EA's huge-budget MMORPG)?

Which Dragon Age and Space Siege aren't. And MMORPGs are from the RPG genre in their own right.

Well on those titles we will have to agree to disagree.

By which I of course mean that my opinion will be held to be the ultimate truth.
