Yes it was huge. It was a 32 bit system against a 64 bit system, which had much more advanced rendering, shading, etc. Believe me I own both and I know the difference very well. Obviously the PSone had an advantage in the storage space available on CDs, but that advantage isn't as big this time. The leap in space isn't as large, and it's shrunk even more by the fact that the PS3 often makes games in full 1080p, which pretty much nullifies it's capacity advantage over the Wii because of how much more space it makes games take up. The Wii's capacity is 8.5GB per game (5 2/3 times that of the GC before it) and the PS3's is 30GB. The issue is though that 1080p graphics take up massive amounts of disc space.
