Eh...it'll be weird if true. Kratos would be a good character addition for a Soul Calibur series, maybe for 5. If Nintendo were to get a Soul Calibur game again, they should add Link, Zelda/Sheik and Ganondorf.

Not that your logic is off, but Ryu did not originate from DoA. He is originally from Ninja Gaiden, all the way back to the NES days.
