Its sold out near me. Went into JB Hifi tonight (picked up Okami), and the FIRST thing anyone sees as they walk in the entrance:

"Wii Fit" (display stand)
SOLD OUT SIGN

I don't ever remember seeing a product with so MUCH retail space given to it - when the product isn't even available.

Suspense may be right ... southern WV is not Wii territory.
I have heard of a Wal-Mart (in Wayne) that has been sitting on the same stock of Wii units since last Christmas.

I remember being in a Wal-Mart in another part of WV (Keyser in the northeast part of the state) and seeing half-a-dozen Wii Fit units on launch day. Of course, since WV leads the nation in obesity (or is close to the top), so it just might not be popular.

And they are selling for right around $105-125 on ebay



If perferring the PS3 over the 360 makes me a fanboy.. I guess I am guilty..

Of course, because having an 80% average on gamerankings (means the game is ABOVE Average) doesn't help at all.

Majority of the local residents there likely have never heard of ebay (or internet for that matter), so they are likely not going to pick up the overstock.
