I think some people can't seperate their pasion for something from what it actually is. I think you have a problem when in your mind the greatest (film, game, story, etc) and your favorite are the same one.

It's the same type of person that when you critique their art work or designs takes it personally.

Awesome point. I never thought of it that way. Now that I think of it, my "favorite" films list and my "greatest" films list have very little overlap.

As for the design comment, hahahahahah, too true.

I just want to know what causes a person to go around screaming this nonsense about how MGS 4 is the greastest story ever made? Why do so many people not just beleive its better then any Cinematic or literary work to date but also need to be defended at all cost?

Its like they're fighting some internal battle where if everybody doesn't believe its the greatest game, then it won't be. So they have to convience everyone it is so they can feel justified in loving their game.

Oh and not only is it the greatest story ever but the graphics are better then anything ILM will ever produce. And Lockheed Matrin in actually making these things right not, thats how acurate it is. Of-course we all know David Hayter will be getting the academy award for best actor. As we speak Oxford is make a entire class dedicated to teach about Hideo Kojima brilliance and through contact I have at NASA I here one of the new sets of shuttle their making will bear his name.
