Actually I think it was just last year that I heard some big story about people analyzing some DNA or some junk and proving that there is no way in hell that the Mormons would have descended from a lost tribe of Israel, and when asked about it the Mormons suddenly decided that they knew that all along, and that part was a metaphor or something, and they never believed it anyway. You gotta love 'em.
