Iran is not the only country guilty of this it seems.

Indeed, according to this document, the USA is second only to Iran. o_O

i had a look for information on a number of those names and i didnt find one that was actually executed before they were an adult.  most of them were likely convicted when they were over 18 even.

as a side note:

In 2005 capital punishment for crimes commited by those under 18 was ruled unconstitutional, so there wont be anymore.

No offense, but I'll take Amnesty International's word over your armchair research any day. :P

If he had murdered someone then he should not be treated like a children

you mean their word that they were under 18 at the time of the offense.  they dont say the US executed them when they were children.  You are aware how long it usually takes for someone to get executed within the united states, right? all but one were 17 at the time of the offence, so their trials likely werent even over.  the other was 16 and he was executed at 30.

Some more evidence for you then Bubbles. ;)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti American in any way, I'm just offerring a more critical perspective here. Underage excecutions in any country is very unfortunate. I love it how quick you are to disregard anything that appears at all inconsistent with your own narrow point of view however.

OK, I see what you're saying. Nevertheless, it is rather unfortunate that 'children' are put on death row in the first place IMO.

that doesnt at all go against what i was saying.

its says the last juvenile executed was in 1959.

your previous evidence was from 1990 to current.

therefore you proved my argument that none of those people were executed as children.

1959 was not that long ago really. :)

I'd bet that there would be at least one user on here who was alive back then.

In my opinion all executions are outdated and wrong. I think the worst offender in the West is Texas - they have a horrible record of racially motivated and/or innocent people being executed. I'm against all executions as its pretty much the only punishment that it is absolutely impossible to undo - you can always release someone who is locked up but you can never bring a corpse back.
