Isn't this a VERY OLD church? If so, it is in the public domain and the Church can go @#$% themselves. I don't even remember if the name was used in Resistance. If it wasn't then there is absolutely no ground, or the Bellagio(along with the rest of the strip) would've sued the hell out of Ubi, right???

@vizunary, I guess it must be, as Insomniac is hardly going to ruin the 1950s feel of the game by doing something like that. The closest you get to things being modern, is that some of the road sign apparently are out of plce, as is some toilet. I remember reading something about it, not sure where though...

Copyrights aren't issued. Once you create a work and display it publicly, it's copyrighted.
Don't confuse copyrights with trademarks and patents.
Also, if you change the work and redisplay, the edited version is newly copyrighted.
The church is the downfall of society. Seriously.
