Well, we haven't been attacked again by terrorists. The thing about that, you can't prove what would've happened if he wasn't president. So (hypothetically) if gore was president and after 911 he did set up security and didn't invade (afganistan or iraq), we americans would still be pissed off because we didn't get any revenge.
There is no way to please the american people, you will almost always be wrong in half of the nations' eyes.

I think he should've stepped down after his first year after re-election. But wait... Cheney.... oh god... why didn't he pick a better vice president?
