Enchanted Arms was generic
Blue Dragon was generic and a pretty big disappointment
Heard Eternal Sonata was pretty good but only played demo
Lost Odyssey has frame rate issues and what not but it doesn't break the game at all unlike some other games i.e.Killzone
It'll probably be the first one, release wise, to hit 1m.
I think that ToV, IU, or another JRPG could wind up hitting 1m before LO in terms of date, but not release date.
We'll just have to see. A platinum re-release when another big JRPG (like IU) comes out could boost it +20k..
Famitsu also has it tracked about 10,000 above what VGC does as well for Japan..So that could get changed, and be a little bit more to help.
ToV is going to be interesting...It has an outside shot at 1m if Namco promotes it at all.

I hope it sells 1,000,000. It's hands down the best next-gen JRPG to be released yet IMO. I loved it and hope MS makes mention of Lost Odyssey 2 at either E3 or TGS.

Good for this game if it hits 1 mil. I'm surprised it hasn't hit a mil yet because Sakaguchi was the mastermind behind the old FF's. Perhaps most gamers don't really know a good game when they see one. However maybe the real cause is the 360's nonexistence in Japan which is why M$ bought Sakaguchi's help in the first place. Apparantely, even the great Gooch wasn't enough to convince the Japanese to buy 360s. Maybe they despise M$
On a side note, I think M$ has yet to recoup the cost of this games development because it looks like a heavily budgeted game. It was also marketed heavily but I can't find any links that provide useful info as to what the game's development cost.

SO4 also has a shot at hitting a million since SO3 managed to get over a million copies sold. It would have to get most of its sales from the West though which is actually possible if they give it decent marketing.
Now this may seem a little off topic but I am curious, what is a big JRPG? I mean I know stuff like FF, DQ, and KH are big but is IU really a big, high profile release(this does not mean it will get FF level sales)?
I think so but I still don't think its sales will be enough to recoup the cost of this high budget game.
