Can we re-rail this on topic for 360 sugguestions, and not PC/PS3 fanboy rants?

The radeon 4850 only has more floating point performance than the entire PS3. Its not that good really.
800 ALUs - 160 shaders... Pfft. Who needs to run Farcry 2 at 2-4 megapixel resolution? When, 1 megapixel is fine isn't it?

Read the damn thread. I suggested to save up money to buy a 360 to have each system exclusives. Then immediatly afterwards people started saying 360 had better games.... there is no derailement here. The best thing to do is keep the console you already paid for not sell it for less than you paid for JUST TO REBUY IT LATER DOWN THE ROAD! Thats probablly the most idiotic thing someone can do.
Anyone suggesting otherweis is just out for their own personal agenda.
I also believe both Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2 will be out next year exclusive on Xbox 360.

I didn't think of Marathon. But Gears has only been coming out every two years

He said - He wasn't happy with the games currently out for the PS3 and he wanted to switch to an Xbox360.
An unused PS3 is of less value than an Xbox360 that sees a lot of use isn't it?
Besides, he can always rebuy when the PS3 is $249-299 anyway when it has some games that HE finds attractive.

Ooops, well then Marathon it is - Bungie unleashed, if they do as landmark a job as they did with Halo 1 and they release it fairly speedily, possible with the Halo 3 engine already fleshed out and the universe is so similar anyway. We could see it q3-q4 if all goes to plan. 2 years development should be plenty.
We have valve - always good and they are f&*(ing overdue on episode 3!!! I have to kill them.

He isnt happy with the Ps3 lineup right now... which means later he'll be intrested... which means he buys a 543/434 dollar system, sells it for 250/200 dollar, and rebuys it for 434/326 (Tax included) dollars later.... SO YOU WANT HIM TO SPEND 727/560 ON A SYSTEM THAT AT MOST IS WORTH 500/400 DOLLARS!!!! (80gig/40gig)

Save up for the 360. Get both exclusives.

Im selling my 60gb PS3 after MGS4 and I'll rebuy it again in about a year to year and a halfs time. I want to pay for some surround sound with the money for my gaming PC, Movies, Xbox360 and Wii. They are worthy of it.
Btw I don't get where those $$$ numbers come from, doesn't make sense from the retail prices.

Mass Effect
Orange Box
Bioshock
The Darkness
Oblivion
Of course, three of those five are also on PS3, but now's a better time than ever to check 'em out if you haven't already.
