The game box says 4600 MB. That equates to 4.49 GB or 4.5 if rounding up.  I still don't have the official install time.

Even though these installs benefit the game, it´s annoying (IMO) that they are mandatory, not optional.

An increasing number of titles are demanding it...is the BD drive that bad?

Oh well, at least you can swap the original HDD for a bigger one, but man this is too "PCish".

It's weird. They split up loading times between acts so it goes quicker. But as GT said in their review that means if you want to go back to a previous act via an old gamesave it'll install again and you get to watch Snake smoke some more.

I agree the installs are annoying.

When I get home later I will install it and time how long the install takes. I received MGS4 at work. Hopefully I can get out of here early today(wishful thinking on my part)
