ff x-2, most over looked ff game ever.
My favorite is Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy VI but then again I have not played them all.

It's like football, that's so popular in the Netherlands, that eventhough it's just a sport, it's got so many haters, where other less popular sports don't have any haters at all. With succes, comes envy.

Why would I envy FF7? I'm asking a serious question here by the way. It's not like it's something i couldn't own. Next to you i'd bet I probably have owned the second most copies of the game. I bought a PS1 soley for that game... and it's not like I regret the PS1 purchase as it was the best console that generation by a lot.
It just wasn't good.

And that is suppose to mean the game is good? Sorry but I don't think we are talking about how much the game is liked or hated, rather than the quality of the game. THe game is a good rpg, but not anywhere close to the best of the final fantasy series imo. There are many flaws that people new to rpgs didn't notice. Also why would somebody envy a game they've played and owned?
That's what people should ask themselfs. The hatred towards FFVII is just striking. If it wasn't so popular, it woulnd have so many vicious haters. Every topic like this turns into a FFVII is good/is bad topic, cause at some point some people start bashing FFVII all of a sudden.

I agree. If it hadn't been so popular so many people wouldn't have played it in the PS1 days. Which means that less people would of hated it... because less people total would of played it... most people would of never heard of it. Can't hate or like something you aren't aware of.
I still would of played it however, and still would of hated it... because I was a Square Fanboy at the time.
Square was the only company i've ever had a fanboy attachment to.. and 7 was one of the first things that broke said attachment.

My favorite would be FFX, i did every single thing in the game and played over 100 matches of blitzball.

No, the PC version has the same graphics as the PS1 but mods were released later to add several visual enhancements to the game.
