When will NA get the slim internal power compact PS2? http://www.engadget.com/2007/11/02/compact-99-playstation-2-rumored-to-land-in-2008/ The SCPH-90000 hit Japan last year what about the NA? I guess E3 will bring the news. Thoughts?

This is starting to happen slowly. There are some retail stores selling it for $99. The price isn't straight $99 most involve rebates or gift cards but in the end the final cost is $99.
