I started the thread about the GDC Rrod.  You have some evidence it was a new console?

Do you have evidence it was an old console?

There's no evidence that it's new, but you'd think that Microsoft would not take the chance of bringing an old console to GDC, and that they'd use a new one, as they know RRoD is a big issue.

So it's either, A) Microsoft is dumb; or B) RRoD still exists. 

Pick one.

And no making up C, D or any other character.

Whatever the case, I guess we can be sure MS´ next system will be far better built.
