Forums - Gaming - what game have you played the most?

sadly, if I counted up all the hours I have played video games, it's probably more hours then a lot of people here have been breathing. (avg. 3-4 hours a day, every day, sense 1978)

lol, that's only 5 years... never mind :) (I should have done the math :p)

Counter-Strike, without a doubt. If you include all the HL mods (and HL itself), I have probably tripled all other games I played.

IMO, Counter-Strike is the greatest game ever created. If you find a real server to play on, it's the best experience gaming has ever offered. Nothing is like logging on to the same server for two years and seeing the same people, chatting with them, exchanging ideas, and then playing it all out, night after night after night.

Brilliant. Online gamers will never witness that kind of experience again. It's sad how the birth of something can also be its pinnacle.

For MMO id say Tibia, I think I played that game for 4 years

Other than that it would be Age of Empires the Age of Kings

Lull, funny because That's exactly describing an MMO, but probably with more shooting, and less RPGing.

Edit: OK, so MMO doesn't include the RPG by itself >.> but you get the idea.

No, if EQ, SWG, and WoW don't count.

I played with many of the same people in CS that I did WoW and it was never the same. There's something to be said for immediate death and round-based combat that an MMO can never replicate.

If you never witnessed CS when it was around beta 6.0 or official release 1.0, I don't really think I can properly explain it.

Probably Melee or WC3.
Currently it's Brawl though.

Probably Pokemon Diamond, or Final Fantasy X.

Counter-Strike and Tibia (MMORPG)
