Could this explain why Ninja Gaiden II hasn't lived up to the previous titles?

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

I think it's going to be published by nintendo though. So no boycotting for Fatal Frame IV.

They are still helping to develop it though. Meaning there name would be on it. Just wait til after Fatal Frame 4 them I'm all for the boycott. JK I still like Tecmo. But I guess one of the main reasons I liked them because of the Team Ninja aspect. Oh well I suppose.

If this happened a year ago, I would've agreed with you. But lately it seems MS has lost its stomach for personally backing developers. Look at Bungie and Bizarre and to a lesser extent, Bioware. MS has seemed content in letting MS Game Studios shrink more and more towards irrelevance. Then again, I guess that's all the more reason why they would snatch him up and fund a studio for him.
