Ehm you can't delete your PSN ID as you register via PSN, so formating your PS3 has no use. Beauty of it is you can use the very same usernames on every PS3 console, no matter what region. Just register a new ID via PSN, I've done that myself and simply don't use the other one. Oh yes...use a different E-mail address, apart from your other account.
