There are many foreigners playing at top clubs, it's not only England.
I'd love to see English clubs footballing, especially some English guys like Gerrard and Lampard.

I also heard a rumour that FIFA wanted to have a maximum of 5 foreign players playing at a club (from the 11 starting players, max. 5 foreign players) in 2013...

A maximum of foreign players? The EU already said that'd be illegal: All EU citizens can't be discriminated against in other EU countries for their national origin. A rule like that would get thrown away immediately.

So you might cut the number of Argentinians and Brazilians, but You'll still get flooded with EU players that play better :)

 Yeah, it won't work, the EU won't allow it, insteadof moaning at the teams for investing heavily in Foreign talent why not bear in mind that English players might not be good enough. Click on two links below and see what I mean.

I think english football players will never die out as so many average, ordinary people still play footy. Their kids will grow up playing football and maybe start for west ham in the future...
