The part of this article that I actually agreed with the most (and many people here may disagree with the most) was the discussion about online systems ...

I spent years playing online games on the PC (and I still play MMO games to this day) but I really, absolutely hate XBox Live for many of the reasons he cited; I suppose a lot of this comes from not having the time to master games anymore, and the inclusion of voice communication makes it much more difficult to ignore people when they're being idiots. I suppose what I am looking for from an online system is something that is far more constructive and social than what is currently available through services like XBox Live ...
