That's either due to:

A)  Your computer being crappy/spyware infested.

or

B)  You keep firefox open for many hours at a time and do lots of internet browsing without closing it periodically (thus allowing the memory leak to continue eating memory until everything slows down).

The new url completion tool is crap but I hope there is an about:config parameter and yes it needs a new Skin.

But everything is so snappy I am really pleased. Firefox for the win!

 You're right about the url completion, I like it when it only shows the url and the pages you actually typed first

Yes I used it since B3. I've found in the FF3 rc1 that media clip posting in the forums will bring up the youtube vid in the insert box but when I apply it it goes to the light orange box and the flash code and says plugins needed--for which auto install fails.
