I will say this though-- everything you've seen so far has been pre-alpha and that hotel video is probably close to two years old. I'm not sure what you were talking about with frame rate, I didn't think the first video had any big hiccups. The quality of the video is shit so that could account for some things (looks like it was recorded on a VCR >_<).
