1) You were dismissive about something he was proud of. Heck, maybe you didn't even mean to be, as I see people skills aren't your strong suit. Still, you came in with a poor attitude toward him and his thread. One look at your profile tells me this is something you enjoy doing.
2) I am well aware that the VC uses emulation, which is why I said "and emulators(like you are talking about)", because you were referring to people using emulators illegally. Which is, ya know, the basis for the stealing-with-a-computer line. If you don't understand this, that still doesn't change the fact that it is wrong.
And by the way, don't even attempt to say you were only referring to legit uses of emulators. If you had been, there would have been no need to give a tongue in cheek twist on the name: "remulators".

I never said that it mattered to me how people enjoy gaming. I said maybe highwaystar is a real gamer and doesn't use emulators, and that's a pretty fair statement to make. He doesn't steal and goes through the proper channels to get his games. You're the one that was so baffled as to why someone on a video game forum would have classic consoles, so baffled you felt compelled to question it and then encourage illegal use of emulators.
What answer did you expect from him when you questioned it? I don't think you asked it for the very obvious answer. Why bring up "remulators"? Unless you think emulation is some closely guarded secret that needs to be spoken of in code(rhymes with remulators), why mention it to an obvious collector-type?
