Buy American!

LOL I hope this was a joke. German or if you must Japanese.

There isn't anything wrong with modern American Cars. Aside from being a little over expensive since the price of healthcare gets tacked on to them.

Ford cars are the most reliable out there now adays.

Shoulda thought of JD Power yesterday actually.

I;m sorry but you have zero idea what your talking about. Ford vehicles are stronger, more reliable, and have the sync system.

Stronger in what way?

@Kasz216, when you say buy American, do you mean buy a vehicle manufactured in America or buy a vehicle from an American manufacturer?

Gratz on your Mini :) Good choice.

Are those RX8 style doors I see there?

What's an RX8? >_>

<--car stupid

-edit-

Hooray google image search

Do you mean doors that flip up like a Lamborghini?  Then nope.

Do you mean the awesome two colored seats?  Then yes.

^ It's a Mazda.

The Lambo style doors are a mod. The stock car has doors like these.

Ford's are very good also here in Europe. Here in Italy they cost a little bit less than comparable FIAT's they have less unuseful gadgets, but all the necessary is included and they are more reliable and equally economical in fuel consumption.

I'd buy an italian car only if I wanted a sports one, and in that case, unless I could afford a Ferrari or Maserati or Lamborghini, I should learn to live with Alfa Romeo's lower than average reliability (although they're much better than in the 70's and '80's, when they got much of their bad fame about this). In my family we had a lot of FIAT family and city cars, awful and too much expensive for their real value, the only reliable parts were their engines, now I won't get fooled again and I hope neither will my parents.

@twesterm

The Mini Clubman is the only Mini I would buy, because of the lack of space in the back seats and boot in the short one. However I'd buy a diesel one, I always preferred them.

Given its lower weight, it should have real city consumption lower than the others (theoric, declared by manufacturer ones are almost always a joke, especially the urban ones).

Oh my god. There is a reason Ford is bleeding money like no tomorrow. The cars are beyond ugly and have terrible reliability. It would be surprising if Ford still exists in 10 years. (At least in this form). A company doesn't get in this situation if it makes good cars.

2003 I was in the states and drove the worst, ugliest car of the whole world a Ford Escort. Unbelievably bad car.

PS: If the reliability of Ford cars has improved in recent years then this can only be filed under too little too late.

Mini or Accord. Accord may not be as flashy, but it'll run better than any of those other cars a whole lot longer.
