This post is not intended to flare up you fanboys, but what i would like to know is which game will sale more copies what do you think Resistance2 or GeOW2. There is alot more 360 owners compaired to the ps3 but in november that could be a completely different story. i put my money on GeOW2 but all in all it will be close

We've had this discussion already several times. It's pretty obvious Gears of War will sell the most...

What I would compare is the game's themselves. Which one do you guys think will be better?

Resistence 2 will sell really well but Gears of War 2 will sell even better

I think the sales are going to be very close. Gears of war multiplayer looks pretty good. However, i was surprised by number of players online for resistance 2.

GOW2 will sell double the numbers of Resistance 2

thats a good piont its just that GeOW2 is third person and Resistance2 is FPS the games will play completely different but i think Resistance2 will have a better story GeOW was kinda lame but game play was great

Depends what you like in games I suppose. I am pretty sure Resistance will be more enjoyable. R1 was a launch game after all. And for a launch game it was pretty much awesome (You just have to compare it with 360 launch games or the other PS3 launch games). Factor in Insomniacs pedigree and you have the recipe for an awesome game.

Gears1 on the other hand while much better looking than Resistance1 was somehow a bit lifeless and I greatly prefer standard FPS controls. (I have to say I only played half of it on a PC).

So both games will look gorgeous and Gears2 may be a bit more spectacular and most likely sell a bit more. But I am pretty sure I would have more fun with Resistance2.

I think, for me, Resistance 2 will be a better online experience. They way they are doing the 60 man online is revolutionary. I don't think it's ever been done before.

To give a quick one line explanation, Think of two computer controlled players playing C&C, and you being the units they direct.

 I'm guessing that R2 will sell 4.5 million and Gears 2 will sell 7 million. I think I will be spending more time on Resistance's multiplayer mode because of the revolutionary squad system. You basically have 30v30  death-matches with the computer strategically directing you to victory. Everything in that game has been improved.
