pre-ordered like 2 months ago. Some of my friends who only owned a 360 thus far are getting a PS3 by the time MGS4 releases.

I'm really close to their west coast hub. I get everything next day. I'm thinking that I might not want to wait a day and might just purchase the game at retail when it launches. Dunno. I'll have to think about it. |
My closest Gamefly distro center is in Philly and I live in North Carolina, gamefly shipped Haze for me the day it was released and I have yet to see it, which means that I won't be playing Haze until Tuesday since it a holiday on Monday. Other than inconsistant ETAs, I think there's something going on with my mail service, I've had a total of 4 games missing during the last year and a half. Some mailman is out there playing Xenosaga3, Okami, Dead rising and Motorstorm for free.
I never read an MGS review before finishing the game. This is an automatic buy for me.

dont care for reviews, dont care for preorders, but will be buying this the day it comes out (buddy will get it for me)
not yet but im sure thats it will be in home 12/06
preordered while exchanging my Age of Conan preorder to full version from Gamestop on friday
Not sure why the limited edition is only available through GameStop, otherwise I would have ordered through Amazon. It was almost $90 after taxes(!) I never buy limited editions, so this is an exception.
It just means I'll be playing it on the day of release instead of waiting a couple extra days, not that it matters. GS will probably do a Midnight release. Plus a book that I'll look through once or twice, a disc of extras I'll watch once, and better cover art that I'll look at every time I play the game. So... about a 50% premium for original cover artwork.
And suddenly I'm starting to remember why I never buy limited editions.
Not preordered yet. I have booked the day off from work so I'm paranoid that it will arrive the day after. I preordered GT5 prologue and it arrived the day after launch, not bad but I dont want to book the day off for nowt.
Ynwa.
I'm not goign to pre-order it. I have exams when the game comes out so I'll be buying it a week or two later.
