I was playing MGS3 this morning and it was makng this weird clicking noise (which at first, I thought was the game).

Now whenever I try to play the game it freezes and a little disc with a question mark pops up in the left corner of the screen.

Is there anything I can do to fix it or has the old girl finally had it after six years of ownership?

I believe its time to upgrade my friend.......

Actually get a can of compressed air, open the disc tray and blow the shit out of the lens with the can.

Well, now's the time to upgrade to a slim... or import an 80 gig.

I'm not buying a slim now. This is the first time I've played the thing in like 6 months.

Aren't the 40 gig ps3's backward compatible?

I guess you either get a slim PS2, or shell out for a PS3. I give you my condolence.s

Unfortunately 40 gig PS3's only play PS1 games.

20,60,80 GB all play PS2 games but not 40(they all play PS1 games though)
