Yes. The limit has been increased to 350MB..I posted an article about it last night.

The reason that PAA isn't on Playstation 3 is that the Torque Game Engine (which was used for PAA) does not support the PS3.

And ironically, I work for the company that makes the Torque engine. I should yell at them.

Heh, cool :)

We were going to look at using Torque (and may still do so)...

...

I thought this was JUST going to be released on their "Greenhouse" service. Obviously not!

Looks awesome...might buy it because my XBL Arcade collection is pretty empty...hehe

Other than I have Uno, Undertow, Texas Hold 'em and a couple of others that I don't play anymore.

But this game looks rather entertaining and surprisingly low on storage space :D

Didn't Rocketmen: Axis of Evil use the torque engine?  I guess it was a different version, or maybe just for the 360 version.

Yakuza - Yes, Rocketmen: AoE was made using Torque. However, the PS3 version was ported/recoded by a 3rd party company.

Torque is a great little middleware engine..You can't get much better than $100-ish for a nice development kit.

And for those hoping that the $20 price point would deterr users....It hasn't Penny Arcade Adventures stands a VERY GOOD chance of becoming the highest-grossing game in 2008 for first week revenue. It's already at 2,800 copies before the first full day is done, which is very good. PAA should get well over 10,000 by the end of the week, but could creep above the 13,000 mark.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

There's a Mac, PC, and Linux demo here

Penny Arcade Adventures out-sold every other 2008 release for first day sales for revenue...Rez HD, Ikaruga, all of 'em.

Rez HD = $120,000
Ikaruga = $115,000
Penny Arcade = $125,000

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Gabe's arms make him look like a monkey... am I the only one who thinks that?

idk...i tried the demo and wasnt impressed

I tried the demo and enjoyed it. The art style by "gabe" is really distinct and attractive, but from the demo I'm fairly disapointed by the writing. "tycho's" writing seems to be good for one liners, and three panel strips, or for rants on gaming, but the conversations in the game seemed awkward and forced. The narrarator was good, the little messages from opening boxes or trash cans or item descriptions ect was good but when it gets to the point where you must actually interact with Gabe and Tycho the conversations seem like they were written by some one in a grade school writing class. It didn't seem natural.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

How did it do copy for copy though? How many more did Rez and Ikaruga sell to get that close?
